We’re back at it again – this offseason we continue our major renovations! Our entire Sea Building (16 oceanfront rooms that are extremely popular with our returning guests) is being completely renovated. We will install new flooring, brand new bathrooms, new furniture, and new windows with plenty of sunshine to let in. Without a doubt, these will be the nicest rooms on the Outer Banks.

Renovations at The John Yancey Oceanfront Inn Four Seasons Building have begun! Over the coming weeks our team will be working hard to make major improvements to the Four Seasons Building improvements and we’re eager to share that progress with you.

Located 15 feet from The John Yancey Oceanfront Inn, (literally across the street) Bill and Liz Tucker’s Kill Devil Grill has been a favorite of both locals and visitors for over 15 years. A 1939 Kullman dining car (one of only six historically registered) greets guests at the front entrance. The famous Back Yard Wings were awarded this year as the best in the State of North Carolina by BuzzFeed! The Key Lime Pie and Strawberry Shortcake keeps the sweet tooth train coming back for more. Our breakfast room is set to open this weekend, during St. Patrick’s Day weekend. Breakfast room can sit about 40 to 50 people, with new quartz countertop, LVT floor, new tables and chairs and Smart TVs.
