  • March 8, 2025: Annual St. Patrick's Day Weekend Beer Mile put on by OBX Running Company and the Outer Banks Brewing Station.

  • March 15, 2025: Running of the Leprechauns 5K and 10K.

  • March 22, 2025: Blackbeard's Revenge 100 Mile.

2. Kelly’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade

  • The one-mile parade route runs from Bladen St. (MP 11.5) north to Driftwood St. on Virginia Dare Trail (Beach Rd.).

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day OBX-style! The 2025 Outer Banks St. Patrick's Day Parade will be held on March 16, 2025, in Nags Head. As one of North Carolina's largest parades, it features vibrant floats, live bands, local businesses, and a lively Irish-inspired atmosphere. After the festivities, head back to our hotel to unwind by the beach and enjoy the refreshing sea breeze.


April Events

2. Fly into Spring & Easter Eggstravaganza - Kitty Hawk Kites

1. OBX Rod and Custom Festival

  • May 2-3, 2025

.Automobile enthusiasts can connect with fellow fans and explore North Carolina’s stunning coastline at the two-day OBX Rod and Custom Festival. This celebration of vintage cars features cruise-ins, static vehicle displays, and family-friendly activities, including local food, games, and special events for all ages.

The festival offers a packed lineup of activities, from vintage vehicle displays to games for both adults and kids, plus plenty of food to enjoy. Attendees can also bring their own cars and explore historic Outer Banks sites. Held in Kill Devil Hills, the event is surrounded by scenic roadways, from Corolla’s northern beaches to the Cape Hatteras National Seashore, making it easy to relax and enjoy the ride.

2. Nags Head Woods 5k

The Nags Head Woods 5K, just minutes from our location, is a popular annual race through the scenic Nags Head Woods Ecological Preserve.
